Thank you for another epic Magic Millions – your team did a great job! The end result once again set a new benchmark! As always we couldn’t do it without you. – Client Testimonial.

A number of event locations were transformed into themed spaces for the enjoyment and pleasure of the VIP guests at the Magic Millions 2018. For the 4th year in a row, icatchers were engaged by Kat & Co of Sydney to manufacture and install the VIP feature entertainment and catering spaces for the Magic Millions Yearling Horse Sales event.

The brief for this, one of the most prestigious annual events of the equine calendar in Australia, was to help to create a beautifully themed and handsomely decorated back drop for the fun and excitement for the VIP guests of the Magic Millions. It consisted of the Polo event on the Gold Coast Spit, the Opening night extravaganza on the beach at Surfers Paradise and the beautifully designed and detailed Race Day VIP precinct at the Gold Coast Turf Club.

The challenge for Kat & Co each year is to come up with a series of fresh and unique spaces that add the perfect backdrop for the enjoyment and comfort of the events’ most important guests.

icatchers role is to take these concepts and produce and provide them to the exacting standards required by Kat & Co and more importantly, the event’s owner and organiser. The fact that the event is run in the first weekend of the new year is another steep challenge to overcome as the very bespoke nature of the fit outs requires a lot of forward planning and as the design process can be quite fluid, a talented team of fabricators and support staff are required to manufacture, detail and install, all in a short and hectic period of overlapping events.

To our credit, icatchers has always handled this task completely in stride to the exacting standards of the Kat & Co Event team to deliver a very high-quality product that is enjoyed by all and adds to the splendour of such a special event.
